~Fun with the Ks~ Staycation @ Rasa  Sentosa Part I

This June holiday, due to budget (we are saving money for a nicer winter holiday)  we couldn’t bring the kids on a flight-out holiday. They were disappointed but were very cool about it in the end. Hating that they seem to have no highlight for the June Holiday, we decided to do a staycation instead. After much ‘shopping’ , we settled on Shangri La Rasa Sentosa’s family promotion. This place is probably one of the few places  with kids friendly facilities (think Club Med), such as indoor playground, kids drop-off, fun pools, private beach etc. Even better news is because it’s SG50, the usually chargeable Cool Zone for kids is now COMPLIMENTARY!

For the package, we are given a family  room which is nice and new. We are also given an extra bed which is HUGE! I think the rooms were renovated not too long ago. Compared to 6 years back (when I was still pregnant with Kay), the room is definitely more refreshed.  It’s also not a daily affair that a hotel tells you that mini-bar is complimentary for the first round.

Service has been fantastic so far. Poor Mr accidentally sprained his ankle when we were exploring around (yes, unfortunate, I know), so I went to the pool side to get some ice for him. The service staff was so nice to deliver the ice over to the kids craft area. The staff at the kids zone was also concerned and offered kind advice to have his ankle massaged by the spa staff.

So, 2 hours into the staycation, we are definitely very at home. I shall go offline to enjoy this little break with the man and the girls, though it may prove to be a a challenge because the complimentary wifi is too efficient.
